TESSA BROWN

It is with sadness that we have to tell you that Tessa Brown was put to sleep just a little while ago (on August 15, 2008).
Tessa was an elderly cat and along with her advanced years came a number of health-related issues that increasingly meant the quality of her life was not what we would have wanted it to be. After discussion with the vet, it was decided that it was the right time for Tessa to take her leave. We never knew exactly how old Tessa was and always maintained that she thought she had died and gone to heaven anyway because she was so happy being a Library cat. She was a lovely affectionate old puss with the most beautiful face, and the loudest meow we had ever heard when she needed attention. Her presence in the Lending workroom will certainly be missed.
